Sometimes it makes sense to give other’s access to your Analytics account so that they can make informed decisions for revamping your website, helping with online advertising or simply doing research for content or social media posts.
Instead of just giving out your username and password to your entire google account all willy-nilly like, instead grant them access to just the areas they need to see.
For Analytics, first login to your main Analytics Dashboard and then select Admin from the sidebar menu.
Under the first Account Tab, select User Management to manage the users who are allowed to see your analytics.
Click, on the Plus to “Add New Users” and you’ll be presented with a screen where you can enter in a new e-mail address and set access limits for each new user you add.
*Note: The e-mail address of the person you’re inviting must be a Google Account. So either an @gmail.com address or an email address that’s linked to a google account.
Once you’ve filled out the information, click the “Add” button in the top right hand corner to send off an invite to them.
That’s it. They’re now invited to look or collaborate on your Analytics property. You can remove access at anytime.
